To address this issue, some manufacturing engineers became experts focusing on running simulations.
This presentation will focus on SolidThinking’s Click2Cast, Click2Form and Click2Extrude, as drivers for upfront manufacturing feasibility of the designs to catapult quality, productivity and profitability across the board.
As designs are being pushed to the limits with new shapes and materials for lightweighting, there is a great need for the community to explore manufacturability upfront to increase communication and minimize and preferably eliminate process complexities. This presentation will showcase compelling examples of a completely new approach of looking at the entire virtual design cycle to improve productivity and quality and improve profitability across the supply chain.

Ravi Kunju brings over 20+ years of experience in applying advanced numerical methods and analytics, specifically in HPC and cloud computing, to solve complex problems in the areas of computer-aided engineering (CAE) and manufacturing process, and business intelligence (BI).
Kunju is currently responsible for strategizing and promoting the entire line of manufacturing solutions within the solidThinking framework. Ravi holds an MBA from Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University, Michigan.
